Refund & Cancellation

At The Navigators, we strive to deliver unforgettable travel experiences. We understand that plans may change, and while we are committed to assisting you, certain costs are incurred once bookings are confirmed. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy ensures clarity and fairness for both parties.

By booking with us, you agree to the following terms:


1. Cancellation by the Traveler

For Group Tours and Fixed Departures:

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the departure date:
    ➔ Eligible for a 90% refund of the total booking amount (after deducting any non-refundable transaction/booking charges).

  • Cancellations made 15 to 29 days before the departure date:
    ➔ Eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount.

  • Cancellations made 7 to 14 days before the departure date:
    ➔ Eligible for a 25% refund of the total booking amount.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the departure date:
    No refund will be provided.

For Customized Tours and Private Bookings:

  • Cancellation terms will be specified individually based on the itinerary, accommodation, transport, and vendor terms.

  • Some advance payments (such as hotel bookings, transportation, permits) may be non-refundable, irrespective of the cancellation date.


2. Cancellation by The Navigators

  • In the unlikely event that The Navigators cancels a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (such as natural disasters, political unrest, minimum group size not met, or other force majeure events):

    • Travelers will be offered a full refund OR

    • An option to reschedule or transfer the booking to another available trip without extra charges.

  • No other compensation (such as airfare cancellation charges or other indirect costs) will be provided.


3. No Show or Early Departure

  • No refund will be provided if a traveler fails to join the trip, leaves voluntarily during the trip, or is forced to leave due to violation of rules (misconduct, unsafe behavior, etc.).


4. Refund for Third-Party Services

  • Some services (flight bookings, train tickets, adventure activities, visa fees, insurance, etc.) booked through third-party providers may have separate cancellation rules. Refunds, if applicable, will be subject to the policies of the respective third-party vendors.


5. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment if applicable, within 10–15 working days of approval.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment after deducting any applicable transaction, bank, or service fees.


6. Special Circumstances

  • In case of medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer a travel credit for future bookings (valid for 12 months).

  • Such requests must be supported with valid documentation and sent to [support@thenavigators.in] within 7 days of the scheduled trip date.


7. Important Notes

  • Adventure activities and travel involve risks. We recommend that travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.

  • Date changes or amendments are treated as cancellations and re-bookings, and cancellation fees apply accordingly unless otherwise agreed in writing.
